- Controlling Conrad :
- =====================
- The description in the manual of how to control Conrad is vague to
- say the least. So I cooked up the chart below which describes how
- to control Conrad with the Expert 1 joypad configuration which I
- find the best. It takes a bit time to get used to, but it quickly
- becomes second nature.
-
- NOTE: The difference between Expert 1 and Expert 2 joypad config-
- urations are the O and X buttons only.
-
- NOTE: When using the Expert 1 and Expert 2 joypad configurations
- Conrad does NOT reload his gun automaticly regardless of the
- games difficult level.
-

-
- Tips :
- - Configuration is saved with game. When loading a save game from
- the memorycard the configuration is used from here. You don't
- have to set the configurations manually when starting from a
- saved game.
- - Hold R1 while in combat mode. Only release it when turning or
- ducking to avoid enemy bullets. This ensures that Conrad don't
- stand up in a critical situation by accident.
- - Use R1+UP when in walk mode to position Conrad before jumping
- over electric floorplates, bouncing mines etc.
- - Use R2+LEFT and R2+RIGHT to look around corners without exposing
- Conrad to enemies and bullets.
- - Reloading gun (L1) while holding R2+DOWN down in combat mode will
- allow you to look behind Conrad.
- - Press LEFT or RIGHT when jumping (T) allows Conrad to jump around
- corners, electric floorplates, traps etc.
