  11.   Does this exellent game give you trouble or do you just think the
  12.   manual is pure crap ?... Well this Mini-FAQ might help you.
  13.  
  14.   The Mini-FAQ contains some info about how to control our hero
  15.   Conrad and a few tips. The level passwords are also included
  16.   together with a complete walkthrough.
  17.  
  18.   If you find any errors or have any additions to the Mini-FAQ

  44. Controlling Conrad :
  45. =====================
  46.   The description in the manual of how to control Conrad is vague to
  47.   say the least. So I cooked up the chart below which describes how
  48.   to control Conrad with the Expert 1 joypad configuration which I
  49.   find the best. It takes a bit time to get used to, but it quickly
  50.   becomes second nature.

  52.   NOTE: The difference between Expert 1 and Expert 2 joypad config-
  53.         urations are the O and X buttons only.

  55.   NOTE: When using the Expert 1 and Expert 2 joypad configurations
  56.         Conrad does NOT reload his gun automaticly regardless of the
  57.         games difficult level.

  90.   (*)  Functions for the O and X buttons are swapped when using the
  91.        Expert 2 joypad configuration.

  93.   Tips :
  94.   - Configuration is saved with game. When loading a save game from
  95.     the memorycard the configuration is used from here. You don't
  96.     have to set the configurations manually when starting from a
  97.     saved game.
  98.   - Hold R1 while in combat mode. Only release it when turning or
  99.     ducking to avoid enemy bullets. This ensures that Conrad don't
  100.     stand up in a critical situation by accident.
  101.   - Use R1+UP when in walk mode to position Conrad before jumping
  102.     over electric floorplates, bouncing mines etc.
  103.   - Use R2+LEFT and R2+RIGHT to look around corners without exposing
  104.     Conrad to enemies and bullets.
  105.   - Reloading gun (L1) while holding R2+DOWN down in combat mode will
  106.     allow you to look behind Conrad.
  107.   - Press LEFT or RIGHT when jumping (T) allows Conrad to jump around
  108.     corners, electric floorplates, traps etc.
